Sophie Rohlfing
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Sophie Rohlfing is an undergraduate student majoring in Forensic Science with minors in Biology and Biochemistry. She joined the Schnable Lab in September 2025 as a research assistant, contributing to ongoing projects while gaining hands-on experience in scientific research. Outside the lab, Sophie is actively involved in the Forensic Science Club, where she serves as both a committee member and a mentor to fellow undergraduates. She is also a proud member of the Iron N, the university’s spirited student section club. Originally from Ankeny, Iowa, Sophie has embraced the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as her home away from home.
