Shokhista Turdalieva
Visiting Scholar
Shokhista Turdalieva earned her master’s degree from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, focusing on soil health and plant microbiome interactions. She first arrived at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a visiting scholar with the Department of Plant Pathology and joined the Schnable Lab in fall 2026, where she works as part of the lab’s field and molecular biology teams, collecting data from research plots, genotyping diversity panels, and quantifying gene expression across large populations.
