Niranjan Pokhrel

Niranjan Pokhrel is a PhD student in the Complex Biosystems program, specializing in Integrated Plant Biology. He completed his undergraduate degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal with a major in Plant Breeding. Before pursuing a master’s at Oklahoma State University, he shortly worked as an Agriculture Officer for the Government of Nepal. Niranjan earned his master’s in Horticultural Science, focusing on pecan tree physiology. His research interest lies in leveraging high-throughput phenotyping, remote sensing, and quantitative genetics to advance plant breeding research.
